I took an hour on this sketch. I sat in the SE corner of the Great Court which turned out to be the area where all the school parties assembled. This was quite daunting as I was often surrounded by children, of varying ages, sometimes jostling me for space on the bench.
As I sketched, I enjoyed thinking about the space I was in and I resolved that next time I would do something with fewer straight lines.
